I have a 10 digit warranty #, and the 8 digit serial # stamped on the side. I have no idea what car it came out of also, it does not have a removable faceplate. Although.their current range of offwrings in the past 3-4 years do not have the feature rqnge of ome other aftermarkets.the sound quality and efficiency are better than all but a few. They make some superb stereos and absolutely some of the best component speakers. Lastly.what midel is it and its not too hard to figure out the date of mfg from the model. What can I do?Ĭall Blaupunkt.and what kind of car did it come out of? Many of them had the code sticker stuck somewhere in the trunk (if it was a dealer/factory installed product).also if it has a removeable faceplate.the code you are looking for is usually on the faceplate back.and not on the stereo. I go on the internet and it wants a 14 digit serial number, mine clearly has an 8 digit serial number stamped on the side of the radio.
